Probate normally leads to costlier than what they are. There can be a substantial Costs involved in Probating an estate. Costs of Probate refer to all the fees that are paid towards Probation. It includes the court fees which is stable and non negotiable. The Fees Paid for advertisements to publish in Newspapers includes Costs of Probate that is also not negotiable.

There are some items that can be easily negotiable. The fees paid for executors, attorney fees, Personal Representative Fees, Tax preparer Fee, etc. can be reduced easily.
If it is not necessary to deal with Possible claims against the estate or against the challenges to the Will, Or if people think that it is not necessary to have any Formal authority to look after the deceased’s assets or if they don’t want to re title the deceased’s assets, or if they think it is not necessary for the court to look after the activities of the executor, etc. Court supervision costs are totally reduced and no more is entertained with them. Thus by doing this, the Costs of Probate is totally reduced or it is being eliminated overall.

The attorney’s fee varies. It depends up on the amount of work that has been spent on the Probate process. It is generally based on the same guidelines as the executor’s fee.
The Executor’s fee that is normally charged is from 2 - 4% from the value / Cost of the Estate that is in Probate. But the friends and relatives are being appointed as executors to avoid the executor’s fees.
